What to Wear Daily: Serge Lutens Un bois vanille

This is apart of their Beige Collection. Last time I was in SF, I went browsing through the Barney's. It's a lot smaller than the one in NYC so it's a lot less overwhelming, which is always nice. When I shop I always have something in mind but this time when I went in there I just decided to look for a new fragrance because I have been going through this new phase in my life. I haven't used many fragrances in my life and I'm really loyal, so it was kind of difficult for me. This sounds like a small change but something like fragrance is so simple but so drastic. So, when I went downstairs to their fragrance department and asked them for something vanilla, they gave me two options. This was the first and when I smelled this one, right away I knew I was in love. Serge Lutens is only available at Barney's.

The Barneys New York Warehouse Sale

Did you guys even realize that the Barney's Warehouse sale is already going on in SF? It ends on the 9th...

I can't believe that I finally move to NYC and the warehouse sale moves there... Insane! Hope you guys are finding some great things there!

Expect to see me at the NYC one... I'm praying that I'm not going to have to elbow someone for a pair of Margiela's... wish me luck!

The Cage Boot

Damn you Barney's for selling out... and Net-A-Porter for never carrying my size in the first place.  I needed you to be my birthday shoes I got this year.  I guess I will stick with the 3 dresses I bought instead. Some of the best purchases I made this year.  You'll see it in a post soon! (Honestly, I've been laptopless for 2 months now!)

Anyways... I'm working on a fun project with a good friend.  I'm really excited about it.  I'll hopefully post some fun info during the process... maybe even a video (if Vy doesn't mind doing that, lol).

Shoe Collection: Deja Shoe (Cherry Edition)

While strolling around in Barney's, I found these Stella McCartney shoes for $795:

They are like the version I have at home, I got about 5 years ago at Saks, which I love. But these have a high-heel and wrap ankle strap that can run all the way to your knees.

Stella just loves her cherries.

Window Watching: The Gay Pride Parade.

Today in SF, there was the Gay Pride Parade. It consisted with a lot of people, either half naked or clothed in rainbow colors, running all of the streets filled with drunken happiness. I felt so sad that I could be one of those people, because my job permits me from enjoying events that lie on the weekend. I just got to watch everyone have fun from the wall-to-wall bay windows at my work. *sigh*

But I did get a picture of the display at Barney's that encouraged what was going on in the city. I love that.

Barney's Lanvin Window

While I was walking around late in Union Square in SF tonight, I glanced at the Barney's Lanvin window. The large fly was actually made out of really cool fly-swatters. I couldn't help but marvel at the window. Out of all the windows I've seen in SF after so many years... this has to be one of my favorite ones. No wonder why Barney's is so well-known for their window displays. (:
