Shoe Collection: YSL Fall 2004

I'm gonna bring it back real old school and take out Tom Ford YSL Era shoes. This was his last collection for Yves Saint Laurent and a memorable one. He was inspired by the Chinese Collection of 1977 that collided with the launch of their fragrance Opium. I originally wanted these in the wedges but it became too difficult to find them in my small size. I can't believe how much time has passed by. This ivory pair was in look 8. I really loved this particular collection.

I love this dress. I always wear it when I'm not suppose to and I always look overdressed. Oh well.

Took this photo the last night my friends Mark and Marie were in NYC. Marie was working with Michael Kors for a few months and is back in Montreal.

Oh... how I miss them, but thank goodness I'll see them real soon.

The Cage Boot

Damn you Barney's for selling out... and Net-A-Porter for never carrying my size in the first place.  I needed you to be my birthday shoes I got this year.  I guess I will stick with the 3 dresses I bought instead. Some of the best purchases I made this year.  You'll see it in a post soon! (Honestly, I've been laptopless for 2 months now!)

Anyways... I'm working on a fun project with a good friend.  I'm really excited about it.  I'll hopefully post some fun info during the process... maybe even a video (if Vy doesn't mind doing that, lol).

What to Wear Daily: Red Lips

(YSL leather jacket, C&C California tank, Taverniti jeans, Marc Jacobs Collection mary janes)

I usually only wear really RED lipstick. I got to make the shade darker by simply putting chapstick on my lips and lightly smearing black eye liner before putting on my regular red lipstick. It gives it a darker color which I ended up really liking.

What to Wear Daily: Fierce shoulders

(Tom Ford for YSL leather jacket, Moschino Jeans fish tail skirt, Alberta Ferretti studded shoes/DKNY patent leather pumps)

This jacket is made of the thinnest delicate leather I've ever felt. Seriously, sometimes I'm afraid that it will get caught on something and rip. The details are amazing on the jacket too. There are small squares that align the bottom of the jacket to way down the leather because it is so light weight. I love the broad shoulders!

My co-workers said I looked like a futuristic super hero. Haha.
