What to Wear Daily: Elephant Pin

(Worn with navy Prada jacket)

I did a post bout this pin. While I was in California, I told myself that if La Rosa still had this pin I would buy it. For some odd reason, this pin has not found an owner this whole time I have been obsessing over it. I was really lucky getting it at a deal because of a good friend.

What to Wear Daily: Prada Sunglasses

I was so incredibly picky with finding a pair of sunglasses. I wanted a pair that looked casual, simple, classic with a flair. I haven't bought a pair of sunglasses in many years. I found these at the Prada store in Soho before the summer started. It was meant to be.

Taking a Trip: Prada NYC

Usually when people some to visit and they want to go shopping in SoHo, I make it a point to have them walk through the Prada store that is on Broadway. The store is just so amazing. Even if you can't afford to buy anything there, I suggest just to walk down the stairs.

I saw so many great buildings while my brothers were here. There were a lot of pics taken of my back... First one is my hallway and the next is Prada. They were filming The Smurfs moving in my building and on my balcony... they were taking my whole block to film. When I walked out at 11pm to say goodbye to a good friend that is moving back to SF, I'm pretty sure I walked through them filming. There was absolutely no other way to get out of my building... So, when and if you watch it... you'll see my building. (:

What's in the Closet: Prada Watch

This is a bronze Prada watch from Fall 2005. I'm not a big watch person right now, I used to be obsessed in the early 2000. I had an watch in almost every color. I'm sure I have those watches somewhere in my parents garage back in California, but none of them can bet this watch. This also came in a plastic face that came in an array of colors, but I figure that since a lot of my jewelry is this color, I might as well stick with this.

What to Wear Daily: Day 2

(Prada navy short coat, GAP brown belt, Marc by Marc grey thermal cashmere shirt, Rock and Republic black jeans, Dior Cannage brown boots, Nordstrom grey cashmere hat, red and mustard scarfs)

It's freezing cold to me here in Manhattan and one of the best things to wear is cashmere. It seems like anytime of the year it's great to wear. It's soft and warm when it's winter and it's soft and cool during the spring. I found these really warm thick cashmere thermal long sleeve shirts from the collection store on Maiden Lane. I bought them solely for cold weather like this. It is rather large because it's a men's small, but they do the job well. Here are the details:

If you haven't noticed on the blog, I love navy. I almost like it more than black. It literally goes with everything! This was one of my first Prada pieces I go from Saks ad I still treasure it.

Taking a trip to... Prada.

Even though the SF Prada store has been open for a while, I finally didn't get to step in until a few days ago. It had a great sleek design and everything was thoughtfully laid out. The window displays are to die for as well.

I came in there to find a particular pair of their shoes, which they ended up not having on display. Maybe it's sold out? I just didn't bother asking. It was my last stop of the day and I just really didn't want to bother. But I did find this amazing leather 3/4 sleeve coat. If I had $4,475 laying around, this amazing thing would be sitting in my closet. Ahh.... shame. But I could always hope.
