Armani Prive goes back... waay back.

Armani went back in history when he reinvented the pantsuit for women in the 80's for his Fall 2008 Armani Prive Collection. I'm a huge fan of Giorgio Armani but I have to be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of his collection this season. Don't get me wrong, there are a ton of pieces that look very classic; something that you can own forever and it will still be in style that any women would love to own but it seems like he was keeping it too safe with his looks for this season. His collection consisted of plenty of elegant and easy pantsuits that were updated for the modern women of today.

It's weird to see this shift in the fashion industry because if you notice the gowns worn at the Costume Met Gala not so long ago, there were a lot of gowns that were "safe and pretty", there were very few people that took risks that night, which was very disappointing to see.

There was one look that Katia Kokoreva had on runway that stood out to me. Simple long black dress with black and white details along the design of the dress. The cut of the dress around her body makes me feel a little nervous for her to accidentally get a "nip-slip" but it shows that Armani is still can be a little more scandalous with his always classic and chic designs.
